Wearable health sensing system is an alternative solution to overcome these challenges and is able to provide insights on miners' health conditions. The current practice of health analysis is periodic in nature and is highly dependent on voluntary participation. With the technology advancements, it is now possible to keep track of mine individuals and their health parameters. Miners are often employed to perform different mining activities across the mine and are always exposed to health risks such as lung cancer. Occupational health and safety hazards in the extreme work environment of underground mines remained a serious concern for both mine management and regulatory agency. It is obvious that this proposed system helps further progress in rock mechanics and geotechnical fields The experimental results indicate that a secure and stable ZigBee wireless network can be developed to overcome mentioned operational challenges in underground mining. Also, the optimal arrangement of ZigBee wireless nodes on the basis of radio wave attenuation and possibility of stable wireless communications which will be used for gathering some significant geotechnical information such as seismic, deformation and pressure were investigated. In this research, the intensity of received signal strength indication (RSSI) between wireless nodes within ZigBee network was investigated. Developed ZigBee wireless network system was installed in Paddington Gold Underground Mine (managed by Norton Gold Fields Limited). In this study, a proposed WSN system of ZigBee network as one of the WSNs is investigated in underground mines regarding communication and monitoring systems to resolve operational challenges such as safety and gathering geotechnical information. Recently, WSNs have also been used for communication and monitoring systems in underground mines. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been widely employed in industries and the military with multiple applications to monitor environment, track target and telecommunicate data. This paper describes a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) for communication and monitoring systems based on ZigBee technology in underground mines. Developing and implementing this prototype fire safety system can effectively provide information about fire risks, fire safety, fire detection, alarm responses, optimal evacuation routes, 3D visualization and simulation of evacuation routes, arrow and voice evacuation guidance from smartphone device and overall building fire safety with disaster response capabilities for every underground mine.ĭata transfer and communication systems are first priority for further development of geotechnical monitoring. Two-way communication and 3D visualization with evacuation guidance are other possible functions of the proposed system for fire safety. The proposed system uses sensors, detectors, smartphones, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, application gateways, and application program interfaces for solving the problems of building the effective fire safety system. The proposed prototype system in this study uses available technology that can integrate information about fire risk assessment, fire detection, safety situation awareness, and effective system for evacuation displayed on smartphone device to create an intelligent and two-way fire safety system. Therefore, developing an integrated fire safety system is of crucial importance in order to effectively deal with fire disasters and protect the life of every worker. From the toolbar, you can navigate through sketch tools, creating new parts, help options, the marketplace, and much more.As underground mines become deeper and larger with wide specifications it creates a diverse environment with multiple variables that make fire disasters difficult to manage. At the bottom of the screen, you see one toolbar that holds all your controls. xDesign has done a great job taking a simple approach and not overloading the screen with features and options. When learning a new CAD system, the layout can be one of the most confusing parts. This blog will be taking a deeper dive into the cloud CAD system and giving a look into some examples of what xDesign has to offer. xDesign is a cloud CAD system that is available with the 3D Creator role on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is an enormous move by Dassault Systemes to bring all aspects of manufacturing, design, simulation, and more onto one platform. With the Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE platform becoming more prominent, companies are starting to ask what exactly it has to offer.
